National Carers Week (11–17 October) recognises and celebrates the important contribution carers make in our community.

To mark the week, our Carer Support Program is hosting a series of free events for carers. Take some time for yourself, connect with others, learn about available supports and access practical information that may assist you in your caring role.

Who should attend?

These events are designed for unpaid carers who provide care and support to a family member, friend or loved one.

Priority will be given to carers, particularly those currently engaged with our Carer Support Program.

  • Access practical information and expert advice.
  • Learn how to navigate the aged care system.
  • Better understand the financial aspects of aged care services.
